How much do Teladoc Health services cost?
If you are enrolled in a PPO plan you will pay a $15 copay for medical care and dermatology visits. If you are enrolled in a CDHP you will pay the negotiated rate for medical care and dermatology visits until you meet your deductible and then you will pay your coinsurance.
The Teladoc diabetes prevention program, nutritional counseling and expert medical opinions are all offered at no additional cost to you through your Partners for Health benefits.
Can I get a prescription?
Teladoc Health does not guarantee prescriptions. It is up to the doctor to recommend the best treatment. Teladoc Health doctors do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by the DEA, non-therapeutic and/or certain other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. Non-therapeutic drugs such as Viagra and Cialis are not prescribed by Teladoc Health doctors.
Can my family use Teladoc Health services?
Family members on your Partners for Health medical coverage can use the services. After you have created your Teladoc account online, you can log in to add minor dependents. Dependents age 18 and older set up their own account by visiting the Teladoc Health website and clicking “Set up account.”
