Therapy

Virtual therapy with licensed professionals is available through BetterHelp, including individual, couple and teen* therapy for challenges like anxiety, depression, grief and relationships.

You’ll get access to virtual psychiatry for evaluations, personalized treatment and medication management for conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and mood disorders.

  • BetterHelp is a confidential online therapy platform that connects you with licensed therapists for convenient virtual visits, provided through your Wellbound Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits.

    Here’s how it works:

    • You’ll be securely transferred to BetterHelp to create your account.
    • Complete a short questionnaire so you can be matched with a licensed therapist based on your needs and preferences.
    • Review your therapist’s availability and schedule your first sessions.
    • Connect with your therapist by phone, video, live chat or direct message—whichever works best for you.
    • Access additional tools, educational content and self-guided resources anytime on the BetterHelp app or website.
  • You’ll receive a limited number of BetterHelp therapy sessions at no cost to you.

    Here’s what to know:

    • You should not be prompted for payment while getting started. If you are, please email contact@betterhelp.com for support.
    • After you’ve used your covered sessions, you can continue therapy by:
      1. Starting a personal BetterHelp subscription and paying out-of-pocket, or
      2. Using your medical benefits if your therapist is in network
    • If your therapist isn’t in network, you can still continue therapy by paying out-of-pocket.
  • Yes. Teladoc Health provides psychiatric care for evaluation and medication management through licensed psychiatric providers.

    Here’s how to get started:

    • Log in to the Teladoc Health app or website.
    • Go to the Mental Health section.
    • Choose “psychiatric medication” to schedule your visit.
    • You may receive a limited number of psychiatry visits at no cost to you. Check with your benefits provider to confirm.

    Elder care


    Referrals for adult day care, assisted living, home healthcare, Meals on Wheels, retirement communities and more. 


    Local aid and support services


    Navigation to resources like food banks, hardship programs, housing assistance, transportation assistance and more. 


    ID theft consultation

    Free consultation with an ID theft recovery professional and a personalized recovery plan. 


    Convenience and concierge resources

    Home improvement, pet care, auto repair, wellness, travel, entertainment, plumbers, handymen, volunteering and more. 

    To get started with any of these services, please call 888-739-3552. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They’ll do a quick intake to understand your needs, then transfer you to a work-life consultant who can offer appropriate guidance and resources.
