To get the lowest cost for your care, start with a virtual Primary Care visit. Here’s how it works:
Create your account and fill out a brief health assessment so the primary care provider you choose can get to know you. Prior to your scheduled visit, you’ll also record a reading with the blood pressure monitor mailed in your Welcome Kit.
Use the time with your provider to discuss your health history, needs, concerns and goals. Your provider will build a relationship with you over time, making sure you’re up to date on recommended screenings, supporting you on any conditions and building a custom Care Plan.
Look to your account for lab orders, prescriptions and next steps—all part of your custom Care Plan. If you need to get care in person, your provider and Care Team will connect you, as well as answer any questions you have.
There isn't just one thing that makes you, you. That's why Primary360 connects to you to care for your physical health, your mental health and everything in between.
Create your account for further details on your virtual services—visits are available at little to no cost.
Teladoc Health primary care providers include board-certified doctors and nurse practitioners with many years of experience. That means you’ll get the same level of care you would in person (it’ll just be more convenient and affordable).

Primary Care is part of our Primary360 virtual care offering designed to help you manage your overall health—body and mind. You start by scheduling a visit with the primary care provider of your choice. Your primary care provider will partner with you over time to gain a complete understanding of your health. You’ll also work with a dedicated care team of registered nurses and care coordinators who get to know you as a person, not just another patient. Your primary care provider and care team will treat any current needs, connect you to other care virtually or in person, and build a care plan to help you reach your health goals.
Eligible adults ages 18 years and older can use Primary Care. Primary Care is ideal for those who don’t currently have a primary care provider, want to try a new primary care provider or can’t get in to visit their in-person primary care provider as often as they’d like.
Our primary care providers are board-certified doctors and nurse practitioners with experience in family practice, internal medicine and related specialties. They’re well-versed in building relationships with patients in a primary care setting.
You will also have access to a dedicated care team of registered nurses, medical assistants and care coordinators who provide additional support and coordinate your virtual and in-person care throughout your care journey.
Video visits are recommended, but you can also meet by phone. During your visit, your chosen primary care provider will do basic health checks and talk with you about your medical history. You will also be able to review and discuss any images or previous lab work and test results that you uploaded before your visit. After your visit, your care team will create a personalized plan for lab orders and prescriptions along with clear next steps on how to reach your health goals. Your care plan will always be accessible through your Teladoc Health account. If you need to get care in person, your primary care provider and care team will connect you, as well as answer any questions you have.
Prior to your visit, we’ll mail you a Welcome Kit with a blood pressure monitor—yours to keep—at no cost to you.* This will allow you to easily record your blood pressure so your chosen primary care provider can review the reading with you when you meet. Your primary care provider will also review the information provided on your health assessment when you scheduled the visit (video visits are recommended, but you can also meet by phone).

The members of your dedicated care team (including registered nurses, medical assistants and care coordinators) are ready to help you every step of the way. At the core of your care is your visit with your primary care provider, but your care team can help you check your vitals and will coordinate lab and imaging orders, assist with referrals to specialists and answer questions. They’re like the staff in a doctor’s office, but offer personalized support when and where it’s most convenient for you.
Yes. Our primary care providers (PCPs) can start new medications when necessary and appropriate and can prescribe refills for maintenance medications for an entire year. We do not prescribe opioids, narcotics and other DEA-controlled substances.
Teladoc Health primary care providers can prescribe GLP-1 medications to established members for weight loss when clinically appropriate and permitted by state regulations. Our approach to weight loss can include nutritional advice, behavioral therapy, a complete medical assessment and medications. We encourage you to discuss your weight loss goals with your primary care provider to see if a GLP-1 medication is right for you. Costs for GLP-1 medications are dependent on your insurance coverage.
Your primary care provider can order lab work, imaging studies, referrals and vaccinations. If needed, your care team will assist in connecting you to an in-network lab or facility of your choice. Results will be reviewed with you by your provider, incorporated into your care plan and uploaded to your Teladoc Health account.
If you are sick and in need of care right away, you can request a General Medical visit to talk to a doctor 24/7 for non-emergency conditions like cold and flu, sinus infections, allergies and more.
