Anna Haehnel, MS, RDN, CDCES is a registered dietitian specializing in diabetes management and board certified in diabetes care and education. Anna received her B.S. in Dietetics from Michigan State University and her M.S. in Nutrition & Food Science at West Virginia University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Anna has been a dietitian since 2011 and joined Livongo/Teladoc Health in September of 2018.
Anna specializes in all things diabetes: Type 2 diabetes, type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes, diabetes during pregnancy, basal bolus insulin therapy, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).
Besides being certified insulin pump trainer with multiple insulin pump companies, Anna spent 5 years working alongside endocrinologist at Spectrum Health (now Corewell Health) Diabetes & Endocrinology in Grand Rapids, MI, and was a diabetes educator in primary care at UofM Heatlh West for 2 years. She’s also been a speaker for JDRF Great Lakes Chapter Type One Nation summit and served as secretary for ADCES-MI chapter from June 2015-December 2017.
