These vibrant fish tacos are packed with lean protein, heart-healthy fats and a colorful mix of crunchy veggies. They come together quickly with simple seasoning and a fresh, tangy slaw, keeping prep and cooking easy for busy days. The smoky-spiced fish, bright lime and creamy avocado create a bold, balanced flavor in every bite.

Preparation

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, cumin and chili powder. 
  3. Brush fish fillets with olive oil and evenly coat with the smoky spice blend.
  4. Grill fish for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. While fish cooks, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, carrot and cilantro in a large bowl.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, apple cider vinegar and honey.
  7. Pour dressing over the slaw and toss to combine.
  8. Warm tortillas on the grill for about 20 seconds per side.
  9. Assemble tacos by placing grilled fish on each tortilla, topping with zesty slaw.
  10. Add sliced avocado and a squeeze of lime if desired. Serve immediately.
