New clinical guidelines redefine obesity as a specific disease, but the exact rates of pre-clinical and clinical obesity remain unclear due to delays in surveillance updates. This study aimed to assess updated pre-clinical and clinical obesity rates, based on the new clinical guidelines, using data from a U.S. employer-sponsored preventive checkup program.
