Set yourself up for success with reminders

It’s one thing to say you’ll begin a new, healthy habit. It’s another thing to actually do it! 

That’s where reminders come in. Reminders help you build healthy habits by keeping you consistent and on track. Now, you can use your app to set reminders that prompt you to take action at the times when they are most likely to help you.

To set a reminder:

  1. Open up your app. 
  2. Go to Condition Management and tap “Go to programs.”
  3. Scroll to the bottom where you’ll find Reminders. Tap “Manage reminders.”
  4. Tap “Add new reminder.”
  5. Next, decide what you’d like to add a reminder for. Options include:
    • Check blood sugar
    • Weigh-in
    • Check blood pressure
    • Track breakfast
    • Track lunch
    • Track dinner
    • Track snacks
    • Get in your steps
    • Connect with a coach
    • Check action plan
    • Custom reminder (add whatever you’d like)
  6. Once you’ve chosen an action, customize it for things like:
    • Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
    • Days of the week
    • Start and end dates
    • Delivery methods (SMS text message or push notifications)

Life can be busy and unpredictable. Use reminders to help you make time for small actions that add up to a healthier you.
