Coaches are here to help you get the most out of your program. From the first session, they’ll focus on what’s important to you. Your life, needs and goals are central to creating personalized plans, overcoming challenges and celebrating your wins.
Let’s explore the benefits of coaching, and the kind of personalized support you can expect.
In the first session, we want to know what you want to achieve. Then, we’ll help you craft a realistic goal and create a plan to help you get there. Throughout your sessions, we’ll:
You’ve been told what to do. We will help you figure out how to do it. Your doctor may have told you that you need to lose weight or lower your blood pressure. Or they may have told you that you need to start a new medication. Whatever they advised, we offer day-to-day, real-life health behaviors you can implement into your life. And we focus on the small and steady steps that can help get you there.
Your health data helps us notice trends and patterns. This makes it easier to create a plan that works for you. If the plan works, we’ll see that reflected in your numbers. If it doesn’t, together we’ll discuss your barriers, and ways to overcome them, and we'll help you make changes to get you back on track.
When you use the app’s food tracking feature, we can view your meals and offer suggestions to improve your choices. We can also set you up for success with meal planning tips and mindful eating practices. We won’t give you strict rules to follow. Instead, we’ll work together to find what works for you.
You may have limitations that make it difficult to be active. You might have a tough time finding time to exercise. Or you just might not care for it! Whatever your challenges may be, we can help you find solutions. We can suggest modifications, offer tips for quick and effective workouts, or help you find joy in movement.
You might have questions or concerns about your medications—like how they work, when to take them or common side effects to look out for. Or maybe you are having trouble getting your medications regularly. We can answer those questions and help you stick to your routine. That way, you can get the most out of your treatment plan.
Part of what you’ll learn during your coaching sessions is how to develop psychological flexibility. You’ll build tools to deal with the unknown, overcome challenges and keep yourself accountable. We help you tap in to support systems you already have—and explore ways to put new ones in place.
If your needs are more complex, we can refer you to resources that can provide more specific support depending on your coverage.
